OPERATOR INTERFACE TERMINAL PV-550 REV E

1557-UM050F-EN-P – June 2013

The screen shows all alarms in chronological order which are currently registered in the drive
along with a time and date stamp defining when the alarm occurred, (ie. Overtemp1 occurred at
9:06:28 am on March 10). To aid in trouble shooting, a time and date stamp is also provided,
indicating the last time the drive was started and stopped normally (ie. not due to an alarm).

To acknowledge the alarm(s), press the [F6] key. This will cause the F6 key to cease flashing
and return to normal video. (If a new alarm were to occur, the F6 key would again flash in reverse
video).

To reset the alarms and the drive, press the [F7] key. This operation will reset all the faults in the
drive, resulting in the displaying of the screen as shown in Figure 62. If some faults still exist, they
will return to the screen as new faults.

You should note that it is possible to reset the drive alarms from the 'Monitor' terminal. This action
will have the same affect as you pressing the F7 key on this terminal.
