Configuring route filtering

Network requirements

As shown in

Figure 46

:

All the routers in the network run OSPF. The AS is divided into three areas.

Router A works as the ABR between Area 0 and Area 1. Router B works as the ABR between Area
0 and Area 2.

Configure Router C as an ASBR to redistribute external routes (static routes), and configure a filter
policy on Router C to filter out route 3.1.3.0/24.

Configure a routing policy on Router A to filter route 10.5.1.0/24.

Configure IP addresses for interfaces. (Details not shown)

Configure OSPF basic functions (see “

Configure OSPF to redistribute routes:
# On Router C, configure a static route destined for network 3.1.1.0/24.

<RouterC> system-view

[RouterC] ip route-static 3.1.1.0 24 10.4.1.2

# On Router C, configure a static route destined for network 3.1.2.0/24.

[RouterC] ip route-static 3.1.2.0 24 10.4.1.2

# On Router C, configure a static route destined for network 3.1.3.0/24.

[RouterC] ip route-static 3.1.3.0 24 10.4.1.2

# Configure OSPF to redistribute static routes on Router C.

[RouterC] ospf 1

[RouterC-ospf-1] import-route static

[RouterC-ospf-1] quit

# Display the OSPF routing table of Router A.

<RouterA> display ip routing-table
