Probe Path Data
Probe Path Data parameters determine the velocity of the stage when probing and transversing. It also sets
the approach, search and step distances. Probe path parameters are edited in the Probe Path Data dialog
box. Double-click the Probe Path Data line to display the Probe Path Data dialog box.

requirements are not the same
for all features. This is ac-
complished by adding a new
Probe Path Data step above the
target feature, and then editing
the default parameters. Refer
to Inserting new steps later in
this section.
NOTE
The Probe Path Data configuration is described in detail earlier in
Chapter 4: Probes.
Optical magnification
Double-click the Switch to Magnification line to change the optical magnification. The Edit Magnification
dialog box will be displayed. Double-click the Switch Magnification lined to edit optical magnification.
Enter the magnification name into the text field exactly as it is shown in the Probe/Magnification menu.
