Probes
4 Click OK to complete the cali-
bration at the current optical magni-
fication.
Dark/Light contrast at the part edge (Distance CAL function)
Special part edge characteristics occasionally necessitate the measurement of dark/light contrast at the part
edge. To measure contrast:
1 Click the Probe/Probe Properties menu item to display the OE Probe Properties
dialog box.
2 Click the General Properties tab
to display the Edge Data functions.
3 Click the Dist Cal button to begin
the edge contrast measurement. You
will be asked to move the probe into a
dark area.
4 Move the probe into a dark area
and then click OK.
The system will measure the light intensity of the dark area and then ask you to move the probe into a light
area.
5 Move the probe into a light area and then click OK.
