When the data collector is properly connected to the computer, the cable
connection icon in the Load/Unload dialog changes from ‘not connected‘
to ‘connected‘.

And a communication dialog opens in the Enpac.

Using the USB Port

You can use your computers USB port to load lists and unload data from the
Enpac 2500. This interface requires you to install Microsoft ActiveSync software.
It also requires the USB Power Splitter cable (Cat. No. 1441-PEN25-COMS-
US).

Installing ActiveSync

If you want to load and unload your Enpac 2500 through your computers USB
port, you must install Microsoft ActiveSync. You can download ActiveSync from
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/downloads. Follow the instructions
on the website to download and install ActiveSync.

Connecting the Enpac 2500 Data Collector to the Computer

Follow these instructions to connect the Enpac 2500 to your computer by using
the USB Power Splitter cable (Cat. No. 1441-PEN25-COMS-US).

Plug one end of the USB Power Splitter cable into the POWER/TRIG
connector at the top of the Enpac 2500.

TIP

ActiveSync version 4.2 is not supported with the Enpac 2500.

This dialog remains open until you close the
Load/Unload dialog in Emonitor or press the
READ/OK key on the Enpac.
