Bump Test Application

Freq Range

The maximum frequency for the measurement.

240000 Hz
120…2400000 CPM
Frequency range depends on the X-axis units selection.

Lines

The number of lines (bins) of resolution for the FFT spectra. The larger
the number of lines, the better the frequency resolution of the
measured data in the spectra. Similarly, the higher the number of
lines, the longer it takes to display the spectra in the plot.

Options:
100
200
400 (default)
800

3200
6400
12800

Avg. Type

Sets the type of averaging the Enpac 2500 will perform on collected
data. For bump tests, Peak Hold averaging is recommended for
holding the highest spectral peak of each hammer hit. When using
exponential averaging, the Enpac 2500 averages multiple hits to
minimize the noise level.
You must pause the averaging process after the final hammer hit.

Options:
Peak Hold
Exponential (default)

Display Y-axis

Sets the scaling of the y-axis.
Linear - The plot grid centers are linearly spaced in Y between the

centers of the first and last grid.

Log - The plot grid centers are logarithmically spaced in Y between

the centers of the first and last grid.

Options:
Linear (default)
Log
