To copy using the “Cover Mode” function

Position the original to be copied.
–
For details on positioning the original, refer to “Positioning the Orig-
inal” on page 3-7.

For an original that exceeds 100 pages, refer “Scanning a Multi-
Page Original from the Original Glass” on page 3-13 and “Scanning
the Original in Separate Batches (“Separate Scan” Setting)” on
page 3-11.

Load the paper for the cover pages and the paper for the main body of
the original into separate paper trays.
–
Use paper with the same size for the cover pages and for the main
body of the original, and load them in the same orientation.

Touch [Application].
The Application screen appears.

Touch [Sheet/Cover/Chapter Insert].
–
To cancel all settings for the Application functions, touch [Reset].
The Sheet/Cover/Chapter Insert screen appears.
