1. Mount the power supply (p/n 5000-0727) to the panel or other
mounting surface in the enclosure housing the EMU or EMUX
using appropriate fasteners through the four 4.4-millimeter
(0.175-in) holes located under the corner cover screws.
Note: Do not drill new holes through the power supply
housing! This will expose the internal components of the
power supply to moisture, creating unsafe operating
conditions. It also will void the product warranty.

2. Verify that the 1.8-m (6-foot) AC power cord on the power
supply is suitable for the application. Customer-supplied
cabling also may be used. A cable grip fitting, sized for a 3.2-
to 9.5-millimeter (0.125- to 0.375-in) OD cable, seals the exit
for the DC output cabling. Replace the cable grip fittings to
accommodate custom AC supply or DC output wiring, when
necessary.
WARNING: When hard-wiring to the AC supply, ensure
that the AC source is de-energized and that all applicable
lockout/tagout and other electrical safety measures are
followed.
