Chapter 16, Using Matrox MXO2 with Telestream Wirecast

No input signal/Invalid input signal

If your Matrox hardware detects no

input signal or an invalid signal for an input,

Disconnected

or

Invalid

Input Signal

will be displayed. If the input is selected, the input indicator

switches between displaying the state (

Disconnected

or

Invalid Input

Signal

) and the expected video format for that input. To record the input,

you must connect a source that matches the displayed video format. If
needed, change the video format for your Matrox device in the

Source

Settings

dialog box as explained in

“Specifying your settings for Matrox

ISO recording”

on page

221

.

Record log file

After every recording session (see

“Recording session”

on page

229

) a record log

file (

Record.Log

) is generated. The

Record.Log

file is located in the same folder

that contains the files for that recording session. When dropped or skipped
frames occur during a recording session, the

Record.Log

file provides a

breakdown of the events by input, and the time code of when the events occurred.

Specifying your output settings

To specify the output settings that you want for monitoring your source video and
audio on your Matrox hardware, select your Matrox device under

MATROX

INPUT DEVICES

in the

Source Settings

dialog box, and then click the

Output

Settings

button.
