OPERATION
Locking Auger Float
Lock auger as follows:
DANGER
Stop engine and remove key from ignition before
leaving operator’s seat for any reason. A child or
even a pet could engage an idling machine.
1. Lower header to the ground, shut down combine and
remove key from ignition.
2. Open left endshield (A). Refer to Section: 3.3.1
Opening LH Endshield, page 25 .

3. Loosen the two bolts (A) on auger upstops (B) on both
ends of header.
4. Slide the stops (B) downward until they contact the
rubber blocks (C) on the auger arm.
5. Tighten bolts (A).
