Port Number—Enter the HTTPS protocol port number that is configured on the vCloud director.

The default value is 443.

Username—Enter the username of the administrator.

Organization—Enter the name of the organization. If the administrator can manage all

organizations, enter system. Otherwise, enter the name of the organization that can be
managed by the administrator.

Password—Enter the password of the administrator.

vCloud Version—Select a vCloud version. Only version 5.1 is supported.

Click Next.
The vApp Deployment tab appears.

Configure the vApp and VM:

vApp information:

vApp Name—Enter a name for the vApp.

Organization—Select an organization. To add a new organization, click Add next to the
field.

Organization vDC—Select an organization vDC. To add a new organization vDC, click
Add next to the field.

vApp Template—Select a vApp template. To add a new vApp template, click Add next to

the field.

Runtime Lease—Enter the runtime lease for the vApp, in days or hours.VCM stops the vApp
service when the runtime lease expires.

Storage Lease—Enter the storage lease for the vApp, in days or hours.VCM clears all data
of the vApp when the storage lease expires.

VM information:

Primary vNIC—Select a vNIC for the VM when the VM has multiple vNICs.

Network—Select a network for the VM.

IP Address Assignment—Select an IP address assignment mode. Options are Static IP Pool,
Manual Assignment, and DHCP. If you select Manual Assignment, you need to manually

assign IP addresses to vNICs.

Click Next.
The Network Connections tab appears.

Configure the connections:

To bulk configure connections, specify the following parameters next to Batch Deploy, and
then click Batch Deploy.

Network—Select a network.

VSI Type—Select a VSI Type. If you select a network, only VSI Types assigned to this
network are displayed in the list.

VSI Type Version—Select a VSI Type version.

To configure connections one by one, specify the following parameters in the connection list:

Connection—Enter a name for the connection.

Network—Select a network.

VSI Type—Select a VSI Type. If you select a network, only VSI Types assigned to this
network are displayed in the list.
