All connections matching the criteria are displayed in the connection list.
To clear the query criteria and display all connections, click Reset.

Viewing detailed information about a VM

1.

Click the Resource tab.

2.

From the navigation tree, select VAN Connection Manager > Connection.
The connection list displays all connections.

3.

Click the label link of a VM.
The Summary window appears and displays detailed information about the VM.

VM basic information area

Virtual Machine Name—Name of the VM.

Virtual Machine IP—IP address of the VM. If the VM has multiple IP addresses, the IP
addresses are separated by semicolons (;).

CPU—Core quantity of the VM's CPU.

Memory—Size of the VM's memory.

Operating System—Type of the VM's operating system.

Virtual Tools—Operating state of the virtual tools. Only VMware VMs support virtual tools.

Status—State of the VM,

Stopped or

Running.

Server—Label of the physical server to which the VM belongs. The label includes the name
and IP address of the physical server.

vManager—Label of the vManager that manages the VM. The label includes the name
and IP address of the vManager.

Disk area

Name—Name of the disk.

Capacity—Capacity of the disk.

vNIC area
vNIC list contents

Label—Name of the vNIC. If the vNIC name is not configured or cannot be configured,
this field displays the MAC address of the vNIC.

IP—IP address of the vNIC.

MAC—MAC address of the vNIC.

Access Switch—Name of the switch that the vNIC is connected.

Access Interface—Name of the interface that connects the switch to the vNIC.

4.

Click Close.

Adding a connection

A network administrator can add a connection on VCM or create a connection when deploying a vApp.
