MCT for VPLS

Configuration Considerations

Certain configurations must be correctly configured on both MCT nodes for MCT to work.

If the following are not configured correctly, then MCT functionality will not come up for that VPLS
instance and both MCT nodes will independently come up as Active nodes.

VPLS instance configuration should be with the same vc-id on both MCT nodes.

Both MCT nodes should have "MCT" configured for the VPLS Instance.

Both MCT nodes should have the same vc-mode (tagged or raw mode). If this configuration
doesn't match, then the MCT Spoke PW between the two MCT nodes will not come up and MCT
functionality will not work.

Both vpls-mtu and vpls-mtu-enforcement configuration should be same on both MCT nodes. If
this configuration doesn't match, then the MCT Spoke PW between the two MCT nodes may not
come up and MCT functionality will not work.

The following configurations must be same on both MCT nodes for VPLS instance with MCT
end-points.

Same set of Remote Peers.
