CTIVATION OF THE EMERGENCY DESCENT FROM THE GROUND IN CASE OF OPERATOR INDISPO

SITION

ENGINE FUNCTIONING AND ELECTRIC PLANT BROKEN DOWN

This emergency descent is only actuated if the operator should feel ill, the engine is functio‑
ning and the electric plant has broken down or if it is not possible to perform the previous
emergency manoeuvres.

Any arms movement must be performed AT THE MINIMUM SPEED POSSIBLE.

‑ Withdraw the proportional valve adjustment knob from the elec‑

tric components compartment and introduce it into the relevant
adjustment screw, in the proportional valves compartment.

‑ Screw the knob. THE POSITION OF THE KNOB ADJUSTS

MOVEMENT SPEEDS. SCREWING INCREASES THE SPEED;
ALWAYS CARRY OUT MOVEMENTS AT THE SLOWEST
SPEED POSSIBLE.

‑ Take the key opening the distributor controls’ protection, if any,

from the keys group inside the electrical components compart‑
ment.

‑ Insert the key and open the distributor controls’ protection, if any,

to access the controls.

‑ Move the levers and/or buttons of the ON‑OFF coils accessible

from the lower part of the distributor protection in order to enable
the desired movement following the indications on the sticker
positioned in proximity of the controls.
The sequence of movements is the following:
‑ retract extension arm
‑ fold jib arm
‑ fold first‑second arm

The only reason for which it is allowed to use the emergency descent from the ground is to
bring the basket to the ground in order to help the operator, all other use is prohibited.

During this manoeuvre it is prohibited to make manoeuvres different to those stated above
such as extend the telescopic arm or the jib, move the outriggers and generally all manoeu‑
vres that could make the machine loose stability.
