c) Close one of the two right outriggers completely and maintain the movement activated.
Read the pressure value. This value is relative to the right travel distributor.
Switch the machine off
d) Connect the manometer to mouth MA (ref. Hydraulic system).
e) Go to the control position and switch the machine on.
f) Close one of the two left outriggers completely and maintain the movement activated.
Read the pressure value. This value is relative to the left travel distributor.
g) Stabilise the machine.
h) Activate the IN CLOSURE second arm cylinder.
Keep the button pressed and the joystick in position.
Read the pressure value. This value is relative to the aerial part distributor.

HECKING TIGHTNESS OF THE SCREW FASTENERS OF THE PIN RETAINERS AND THE LOCKNUTS
‑ Check that the screw fasteners of the pin retainers and pin locknuts have not loosened.
‑ If they have loosened tighten the bolts or the locknuts, according to what specified in
paragraph “ Pin blocking screws and nuts”.
7.19 R EPLACING / CHECKING EXTENSION ROPES
Respecting the times indicated in the Periodic maintenance table it is important to check wear
and replace any extension ropes, if necessary.
The operations described in this paragraph must be carried out by qualified staff. It is recom‑
mended to contact a JLG authorised centre to have the state of the pulleys and ropes by
expert. skilled staff.
A detailed procedure is given below for the execution of the control of the state of the ropes
and pulleys and for the check and any reset of the correct degree of rope tension.
NB: REMEMBER THAT ROPES AND PULLEYS MUST BE REPLACED BY A JLG
AUTHORISED CENTRE.
The Constructor is not liable for damage/injury caused to objects/persons/animals in the
case of incorrect assembly of the lifting systems by unqualified staff.
