+ Limit and - Limit Inputs
The Ultra5000 drive includes overtravel limit inputs on the motor
encoder connector that can be programmed to halt motion. The logic
is designed so that an open condition will halt motion in the
corresponding direction. If these signals are not used, the drive can be
configured through software to ignore the inputs.
Figure 2.17 shows
the configuration of the +Limit and -Limit inputs. Figure 2.18 shows a
typical connection to a motor with integral limit switches.
