DeviceNet Adapter for use with DPI AC Drives

scanner - A separate module (of a multi-module controller) or a
built-in component (of a single-module controller) that provides
communication with adapters connected to a network. See also
controller.

status indicators - LEDs that are used to report the status of the
adapter, network, and drive. They are on the adapter and can be
viewed on the front cover of the drive when the drive is powered.

Type 0/Type 1/Type 2 control - When transmitting I/O, the adapter
can use different types of messages for control. The Type 0, Type 1,
and Type 2 events help Rockwell Automation personnel identify the
type of messages that an adapter is using.

UnConnected Message Manager (UCMM) - UCMM provides a
method to create connections between DeviceNet devices.

VS Utilities software - A software tool for monitoring and
configuring Reliance Electric products and adapters. It can be run
on computers running Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, or
Windows NT (version 4.0 or greater) operating systems. VS Utilities
can be used to configure the DeviceNet adapter and SP600 drives.

zero data - When communications are disrupted (for example, a
cable is disconnected), the adapter and drive can respond with zero
data. Zero data results in the drive receiving zero as values for
command data. If the drive was running and using the reference
from the adapter, it will stay running but at zero reference.
