slotShow

Displays the status of all slots in the system.

SYNOPSIS

slotshow [-m] [-p]

DESCRIPTION

Use this command to display the current status of each slot in the system. Depending on the option used,
the command retrieves information on blade type, blade ID, status, Brocade model name, and power
usage for each slot in the switch or chassis.

This command does not display the model names for unsupported blades. If a blade is not supported,
only the Blade ID is displayed, and the Status field registers as FAULTY(9). Use the list below to identify
the model name associated with an unsupported blade.

When no operand is specified, slotShow displays the blade type, blade ID, and status for each slot. In
this view, the fields and their possible values are as follows:

Slot

Displays the physical slot number.

Blade Type

Displays the blade type as one of the following:

SW BLADE

The blade is a switch.

CP BLADE

The blade is a control processor.

CORE BLADE

The blade is a core switch blade.

AP BLADE

The blade is an application processor.

UNKNOWN

The blade not present or its type is not recognized.

ID

Displays the blade type ID as one of the following:
