Entries Using
the CLI

To create IP static ARP entries using the CLI, enter the following
command in Configure mode:

<configure># arp <ip-address> <hardware-address>

for details about this
command.

Creating a BOOTP/DHCP Server Entry

The BOOTP/DHCP Server Entry allows you to configure a Router as
a BOOTP/DHCP Relay Agent between a BOOTP/DHCP server and
the requesting client.

You can create a BOOTP/DHCP Server entry using either the Web
Agent or the CLI.

* Note: BootP/DHCP must first be enabled in the IP Global

Configuration.

Parameter

IP Address

Enter an IP address to associate with the Static ARP
entry.

MAC Address

Enter the MAC address of a node to which you want to
create a static ARP entry.
