If the command completes successfully, delta resync with full copy specified will succeed. If
the command results in an error, eliminate the problem in accordance with the error message
and execute the YKRESYNC ALLJNL ERRCHK command again to verify that the YKRESYNC
ALLJNL
command will succeed.
2. Execute the YKRESYNC ALLJNL command for the delta resync pair.

If the command is successful, the delta resync pair between the local and remote sites changes
to the DUPLEX status, and the Cnt Ac-J Z pairs between the primary and remote sites change
to the HOLD status.
About Containers with Pairs of Mixed Pair Statuses
If there is a copy group container that contains copy pairs of mixed pair statuses, perform the
following action:
1. Remove the cause of the error for copy pairs in the HOLDER status.
To identify and remove the cause of the error, execute the YKRESYNC DELTAJNL ERRCHK
SELECT(COND)
command for all pairs in the copy group container that are in the HOLDER
status.
2. Recover all HOLDER pairs.
Execute the YKRESYNC PREPARE SELECT(COND) command for all copy pairs in the copy
group container that are in the HOLDER status to change their status first to HOLDTRNS, and
then to HOLD.
3. 3. Execute the YKRESYNC DELTAJNL SELECT(COND) command for copy pairs in the HOLD
status.
Execute the YKRESYNC DELTAJNL SELECT(COND) command for copy pairs in the copy
group container that are in the HOLD status. Then execute the YKQUERY command to ensure
that all pairs in HOLD status change to either the PENDING or DUPLEX status.
4. Recover all NODELTA pairs.
Execute the YKQUERY command and the YKRESYNC ALLJNL ERRCHK SELECT(COND)
command to make sure that delta resync with full copy specified will succeed, and then execute
the YKRESYNC ALLJNL SELECT(COND) command.
After performing the actions described above, all delta resync pairs change to the DUPLEX status.
Ensuring Successful Completion of Delta Resync in Advance
By executing the YKRESYNC DELTAJNL ERRCHK command before performing delta resync, it is
possible to make sure delta resync can be performed successfully or discover any problems that
may hamper successful execution of delta resync.
