BCM Monitor stops after it finishes all the processes up to the ACTION=STOPPOINT label name,
which is specified in the YKMONCG file.

If the specified label name does not exist in the YKMONCG file, the request to stop BCM Monitor is
canceled.

Example

To stop a BCM Monitor instance whose identification name is YK, enter the following command.

STOP YK

To stop the BCM Monitor instance whose identification name is YK at the specified label
STOPPOINT(LABEL1)

, enter the following command.

MODIFY YK,STOP LABEL1

Remarks

If you use the STOP command in the operating system, it assumes that you specified the
following:

Even when you enter the MODIFY STOP command that contains IMMEDIATE, if BCM is
processing the CLI command, it will not stop until the command finishes.

If you enter a MODIFY STOP command after a MODIFY STOP command that contains
IMMEDIATE

, the latter command is not executed.

If you enter multiple MODIFY STOP or STOP commands, only the last command you entered
will be executed. However, if you enter a MODIFY STOP or STOP command after BCM
Monitor has already begun the stop process, that command is not executed.

Forcibly stopping BCM Monitor

To forcibly stop BCM Monitor, use the CANCEL command. When you use this command, all requests
are canceled and BCM Monitor is instantly stopped.

Format

If both the name of the cataloged procedure for startup and the identification name were specified
in the START command.
