1. In the Copy Group Selection List panel, specify e in the AC, for the copy group container,
and press the Enter key.

2. Specify the following:
•
Enable EXCTG Attributes: /
•
EXCTG ID(Forward): EXCTG ID
•
S of Secondary: S, which indicates a supervisor disk controller
•
ArbCdev of Secondary: An arbitration command device number
If you use the reverse copy direction (the direction from the secondary site to the primary site),
specify the appropriate values for EXCTG ID(Reverse), S of Primary, and ArbCdev of Primary.

3. Press the Enter key.
4. Specify a blank value for the arbitration command device corresponding to the supervisor
disk controller.
Also, when you use only a supervisor disk controller, or when you register one primary storage
system, one secondary storage system, and multiple journal groups in to an EXCTG, specify
a blank value for the arbitration command device. Note that if you do so, the arbitration
command device is assumed to be FFFF.
