11 Linkage with Replication Manager
This chapter explains how to perform operations when Business Continuity Manager is linked to
Replication Manager. It also provides notes on operations, explains how to operate Business
Continuity Manager agents, and describes ways to work around failures.
What can be achieved when Business Continuity Manager is linked to
Replication Manager?
This section describes what can be achieved when Business Continuity Manager is linked to
Replication Manager.
To link Business Continuity Manager to Replication Manager, start the Business Continuity Manager
agents. Whenever Business Continuity Manager links to Replication Manager, the Business Continuity
Manager agents receive requests from Replication Manager and pass them on to Business Continuity
Manager.
This allows you to perform the following operations on mainframe-system storage from Replication
Manager.

Copy group definitions
•
Copy group manipulation
•
Copy group monitoring
