NOTE: Keep the following in mind when working with the configuration in Figure 36 (page 72) :
•
The Business Copy Z S-VOL and the Continuous Access Synchronous Z, TrueCopy Asynchronous
for Mainframe, or Continuous Access Journal Z P-VOL cannot both be in the DUPLEX status
simultaneously.
•
When creating a Continuous Access Synchronous Z, TrueCopy Asynchronous for Mainframe,
or Continuous Access Journal Z copy pair, create a Business Copy Z copy pair first and put
it in suspended status.
•
When resynchronizing the Business Copy Z pair, first change the Continuous Access
Synchronous Z, TrueCopy Asynchronous for Mainframe, or Continuous Access Journal Z pair
to the suspend status.
•
If the Business Copy Z pair is in the SUSPVS status, you cannot perform any operations on
the Continuous Access Synchronous Z, TrueCopy Asynchronous for Mainframe, or Continuous
Access Journal Z pair.
