1.

Execute the YKLOAD command.

2.

Execute the YKBLDCMD command.

On the site where the Remote DKC Control Function is used (the first site of the route), register
command devices on the operation-target sites in the order that the sites are defined in the route
list.

CAUTION:

When registering a command device, the route list definition file and the command

device definition file must have been created on the site where the Remote DKC Control Function
is used. When performing operations on the other sites, a route list definition file and a command
device definition file must have been created on the site.

To operate a storage system on the other site from the primary site by using the Remote DKC Control
Function, register command devices in each storage system as a route from Business Continuity
Manager on the primary site.

To operate a storage system on the primary site from the other site by using the Remote DKC Control
Function, register command devices in each storage system on the route from Business Continuity
Manager on the other site.

The communication direction of a command is determined by the location of the Business Continuity
Manager that issues the YKBLDCMD command. (The Business Continuity Manager that issues the
YKBLDCMD

command is the starting point.) If the route list definition file is transferred to the primary

site from the secondary site, a command device in the reverse direction cannot be registered from
the primary site. Register a command device in the reverse direction from the secondary site.
