Configuring the IDM Unit

Setting the Node Address

The node address is set by switches on each IDM unit. This address is the actual
sercos node address, not an offset from the IAM module. The address is read at
power up, so if the switch settings are changed while power is applied, the changes
do not take effect until the next power cycle.

Refer to

Figure 31

and remove the two protective covers to gain access to the

switches. Using a small screwdriver, rotate the switches to the proper setting.
Replace covers and torque to 0.6 N•m (5 lb•in), repeat for any other units.
