EtherNet/IP Communications Module

Sets the action that the module and the drive will take if the module
detects that Ethernet communications have been disrupted. This
setting is effective only if the I/O that controls the drive is transmitted
through the module.

Sets the Logic Command data that is sent to the drive if the
following is true:

• Comm Flt Action (18) is set to Send Flt Cfg and communications

are disrupted.

• Idle Flt Action (19) is set to Send Flt Cfg and the scanner is put

into Program or Test mode.

Important: The bit definitions will depend on the product to which

the module is connected. If the drive uses a 16-bit
Reference, the most significant word of this value must
be set to zero (0) or a fault will occur.

Idle Flt Action

Range:

0 = Fault

ATTENTION: Idle Flt Action (19) lets you determine
the action of the module and connected drive if the
controller is idle. By default, this parameter faults the
drive. You can set this parameter so that the drive
continues to run. Ensure that the setting of this
parameter does not create a hazard of injury or
equipment damage. Failure to observe this
precaution could result in bodily injury or damage to
equipment.
