Status Words. For other products, refer to their documentation.

6.4

Using Reference/Feedback

When enabled, the Reference/Feedback begins at word 1 in the I/O
image. The Reference (16 bits) is produced by the controller and
consumed by the module. The Feedback (16 bits) is produced by
the module and consumed by the controller.

6.5

Sample Ladder Logic Program

The sample ladder logic program works with a ControlLogix
controller and an MD65 drive.

6.5.1 Function of the Sample Program

With this program, you can perform the following actions:

Obtain Logic Status information from the drive.

Use the Logic Command to control the drive (for example, start).

Send a Reference to the drive and receive Feedback from the
drive.

6.5.2 Module Setting for the Sample Program

Module IP Address 10.91.97.74 is set using parameters.

The module is configured for Single mode (Operating Mode
Switch is set to “Single”).

1. The Reference for a MD65 or MD60 is set in Hz. and not in engineering

units. For example, “300” equates to 30.0 Hz (the decimal point is always
implied).
