Getting Started
This chapter provides:
• A description of the EtherNet/IP module’s components
• A list of parts shipped with the module
• A list of user-supplied parts required for installing the module
• An installation checklist
➀ Status Indicators Four LEDs to indicate the status of the
connected drive, module, and network.
➁ MDI Connector A 20-pin, single-row shrouded male
header. An Internal Interface cable
connects to this connector and one on
the drive.
➂ Ethernet Connector An RJ-45 connector the Ethernet cable.
The connector is CAT-5 compliant to
ensure reliable data transfer on either
10Base T or Ethernet connections.
➃ Operating Mode
Switch and Web
Pages Switch Selects Single or Multi-Drive mode of
operation, and enables or disables the
adapter web pages.
