Power Key Instantly Locks
Activate the screen lock feature by pressing the Power key. This setting
appears only when you set one of the lock settings.
Smart Lock
Select from On-body detection, Trusted places, Trusted devices, Trusted
face, or Trusted voice.
Lock screen message Display the desired message on the locked screen.
Lock screen wallpaper Select the wallpaper for the locked screen.
Show instructions Turn on to show instructions on the locked screen.
Access Lock Screen Options
■ From home, tap Apps > Settings > Lock screen .
 The Lock screen settings menu opens.
Security Settings
The Security settings menus let you set encryption options, password visibility, administrator settings, and
credential storage options.
Encryption
You can encrypt the data in the SD card installed in your phone. You need to enter the PIN or password
for the screen lock for the operation. To set up a PIN or password, see
Security Type .
Warning: Do not use the phone or remove the SD card during the encryption and decryption processes
as some or all of your data will be lost.
