Saving Sub Clips
A sub clip is a portion of a clip cut from the original clip by clicking the Add
Cut Point button on the Timeline or pressing the [ C ] key on the keyboard.
To save a sub clip to the Asset Bin from the Player, do the following:
As illustrated in Figure 230 , click on the Add Subclip to Bin button (highlighted
in blue) in the Player.

Creating Clips
Video, audio, still and sequence clips are created by the capturing and
importing processes as explained in Section 3-Importing and Capturing.
Color Bar, Color Matte and Title clips are created from within EDIUS NEO
or an external application. Sequence clips may also be created by con-
joining multiple clips already in the Asset Bin.
Create a Color Bar Clip
To create a Color Bar clip, follow these steps:
1. Click the New Clip button in the Asset Bin and select Color Bars from the
menu. See Figure 231 .
