Customizing Screen Layout

If you wish to use the entire lower section of the monitor display for the
Timeline, the Information Palette can be moved to the upper tabbed section
with the Asset Bin, Source Browser and palettes as illustrated in

Figure 30

.

In the custom layout in

Figure 30

, all of the major elements of EDIUS NEO

are still readily available with a single mouse click.

Note

Other custom layouts may be created according to user preferences. The
example in

Figure 30

is intended to show one way in which all major elements

remain easily accessible although not simultaneously visible on the screen.

To create the custom layout depicted in

Figure 30

, do the following:

1.

Click

View

on the menu bar and then select

Single Mode.

Note

Both the Player and Recorder previews are still available. In single mode they
are not simultaneously displayed. See Preview Window

on page 44

for more

information.

2.

Drag the Information tab and drop it next to the Bin, Effect, Sequence
Marker and Source Browser tabs in the upper right section of the
display as illustrated in

Figure 31

.
