The Mask filter provides the following controls over mask shapes:
• Rectangle, ellipse and free-form shape drawing tools
• Translation and scaling of shapes
• Free shape vertex editing
• Curve body shape changing
• Colored borders
• Soft borders (inside, outside or both sides)
• Filters applied inside or outside of a shape
• Transparency applied inside or outside a shape
Mask filters are created and edited using the Mask dialog illustrated in
Figure 617 .
