Exporting/Project Output
The last step in the typical project workflow is exporting the project in its
final output format. Capturing clips, editing clips in the Timeline, adding
transitions and titles and adjusting audio is all completed before the project
is ready to be rendered and exported to its final format.
In addition to exporting the project to the desired output format, the EDIUS
NEO project files may be exported in a format that can be imported and
used in another editing application.
Export Project to Output Format
This section covers the selection of output formats and the use of Exporters
for video, still images and audio files.
Export Settings
Before beginning the export process, make sure the following settings are
configured per your preferences:
•
Set IN and OUT points to specify the export range if only a portion of
the project is to be exported.
•
If chapters are desired, make sure the appropriate chapter marker
points are set. See Setting Markers
Using Exporter
An Exporter is used to export projects in various media formats. The fol-
lowing output formats are supported (other formats may be supported
with third-party plug-ins):
Note
Not all supported exporters will always appear in the Exporter list. Available
export formats are dependent upon the project settings for the active project.
