bplimit

Specifies the number of cells for back pressure.
A cell represents 128 bytes. The range is 1 to
7935 cells. The default value is 7935 cells.

holbplimit

Specifies the threshold at which the switch
signals a head of line blocking event on a port.
The threshold is specified in cells. A cell is 128
bytes. The range is 1 to 61,440 cells; the default
is 7,168.

renegotiation

Prompts the port to renegotiate its speed and
duplex mode with the end node. This parameter
only works when the port is using
autonegotiation. The only option is:

auto

Renegotiates speed and duplex
mode with the end node.

softreset

Resets the port. This parameter does not

change any of a port’s operating parameters.

Description

This command sets a port’s operating parameters. You can set more than
one parameter at a time. For an explanation of the port parameters, refer
to Chapter 6, “Port Parameters” in the AT-S63 Management Software
Menus Interface User’s Guide

Examples

The following command disables ports 1 to 6:

set switch port=1-6 status=disabled

The following command configures port 8 to operate at 10 Mbps, half
duplex:

set switch port=8 speed=10mhalf

The following command sets the speed to 100 Mbps, the duplex mode to
full duplex, the wiring configuration to MDI-X, and flow control to enabled
for ports 2 to 6:

set switch port=2-6 speed=100mfull mdimode=mdix
flowcontrol=enabled
