DISABLE TELNET
Syntax
disable telnet
Parameters
None.
Description
This command disables the Telnet server software on the switch. You can
disable the server software if you do not want anyone to manage the
switch using the Telnet application protocol or if you plan to use the
Secure Shell protocol. The default setting for the Telnet server is enabled.
Example
The following command deactivates the Telnet server:
disable telnet
