DL - Download Program
Purpose:
Downloads data to the serial flash memory of the drive. The DL command is used
primarily to download compiled user programs to the drive.
The format of a DL command is:
DL##[hex binary data][esc]checksum]
Notes:
ƒ The DL command is normally activated and used by the Composer software. The
command should not be used manually.
ƒ The start memory address for downloading is defined by the LP[1] command.
ƒ Each data payload is terminated by the 16-bit checksum for the send message.
ƒ The DL command automatically clears the Program Ready internal flag.
ƒ The DL command takes time to execute because it needs to burn and verify.
