Dynamic IP
: Select this type if your ISP automatically assigns the IP address.
PPPoE
: Select this type if your ISP provides you with a PPPoE account.
L2TP
: Select this type if your ISP provides you with an L2TP account.
PPTP
: Select this type if your ISP provides you with a PPTP account.
Note:
The number of configurable WAN ports is decided by
WAN Mode
. To configure

.

Choose the menu

to load the following page.

In the
Connection Configuration
section, select the connection type as Dynamic IP. Enter
the corresponding parameters and click
Save
.
Connection Type
Choose the connection type as Dynamic IP if your ISP has offered you a fixed IP
address..
Host Name
(Optional) Enter a name for the router. It is null by default.
Upstream
Bandwidth
Specify the upstream bandwidth of the WAN port. This value is the upper limit of the
Maximum Upstream Bandwidth on
Transmission > Bandwidth Control
page. Also,
this value determines the bandwidth ratio of each WAN port after Bandwidth Based
Balance Routing is enabled on
Transmission > Load Balancing > Basic Settings
page.
