Configuring the Static IP

In
Connection Configuration
section, select the connection type as Static IP. Enter the
corresponding parameters and click
Save
.
Connection Type
Choose the connection type as Static IP if your ISP has offered you a fixed IP
address.
IP Address
Enter the IP address provided by your ISP.
Subnet Mask
Enter the subnet mask provided by your ISP.
Default Gateway
Enter the default gateway provided by your ISP.
Upstream
Bandwidth
Specify the upstream bandwidth of the WAN port. This value is the upper limit of the
Maximum Upstream Bandwidth on
Transmission > Bandwidth Control
page. Also,
this value determines the bandwidth ratio of each WAN port after Bandwidth Based
Balance Routing is enabled on
Transmission > Load Balancing > Basic Settings
page.
Downstream
Bandwidth
Specify the downstream bandwidth of the WAN port. This value is the upper limit of
the Maximum Downstream Bandwidth on
Transmission > Bandwidth Control
page.
Also, this value determines the bandwidth ratio of each WAN port after Bandwidth
Based Balance Routing is enabled on
Transmission > Load Balancing > Basic
Settings
page.
MTU
Specify the MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) of the WAN port.
MTU is the maximum data unit transmitted in the physical network. When Static IP is
selected, MTU can be set in the range of 576-1500 bytes. The default value is 1500.
