I/O-4

This slot is available for a 10/100 Ethernet,
Gigabit Ethernet, OC-3 ATM, or Fibre Channel
card. See Table 2-6 for valid hardware
configurations.

Fail indicator

This LED is for the main processor. Fail
indicates a nonreversible processor error

Red

Heartbeat
indicator

This LED is for the main processor. When
blinking, it indicates that the operating system
is executing instructions.

Yellow

BMEM activity

The BMEM LED indicates buffer memory
activity.

Green

Reset button

Press in to reset the entire system.

Abort button

Press in to end operations and to have the
PowerPC trap out to a boot ROM handler.

Rx

This LED indicates that the UltraNet Edge
3000 is receiving data from the Ethernet
Maintenance Interface (I/O-0).

Green

Tx

This LED indicates that the UltraNet Edge
3000 is transmitting data from the Ethernet
Maintenance Interface (I/O-0).
