Delayed start and stop times and dates are now set. If the instrument is
operated, data logging will start and stop automatically as required when
each start and stop time and date is reached.

These settings will remain set even after their operating times and dates
have passed, because each date identifies a particular month. If they
have been re-validated by being inspected during the month immediately
prior to the month specified, they will operate again exactly one year
later when the date re-occurs. Therefore, the date settings must be
changed each week (even though the worker's daily schedule may
not have been changed).

Caution

Once delayed start and stop times and dates
have been set, they may interfere with manual
operation of the instrument as explained in
Section 3.3.9.

When it is required to operate the dosimeter manually, any preset start
and stop times and dates will disrupt operations controlled by the user if
they occur while the instrument is running. They should be re-set to pre-
vent unwanted operations, and a quick and convenient way to achieve
this that now becomes possible, is to edit the month settings to an ear-
lier month.
