Provided the instrument is not logging data, if necessary, press

the

key to change the frequency weighting in use (see Sec-

tion 4.7.2).

6.

While sound levels are being displayed, press the

or

keys to select the next or previous parameter from the follow-
ing series of parameters available (without disturbing the time
weighting set for any data being logged). Each parameter is
identified by supplementary legends on the display.

Sound pressure level with Fast time weighting,
Maximum level with Fast time weighting

,

Sound pressure level with Slow time weighting,
Maximum level with Slow time weighting

Sound pressure level with Impulse time weighting,
Maximum level with Impulse time weighting,
Average noise level

1,2

.

Note

:

Data can be displayed for these parameters only when a logging run has

occurred and the store contains data. If the logging run is still in progress, the

display is dynamic and may be seen to change to new values.

Note

:

The time constant used for the LAVG value displayed will be the constant set

at the time the data was stored.

7.

While average noise levels are being displayed, press the
key to display stored average noise levels calculated with the
next from up to four different exchange rate values (Q = 3, 4, 5,
and 6).

The value used for the currently displayed average noise level
will be shown below the main display. Note that L

eq

is the L

AVG

value calculated with Q = 3 (and data time weighting).
