UDP-echo Test Configuration Example

Network requirements

Use the NQA UDP-echo function to test the round trip time between AC and Switch. The port number is
8000.

Configuration procedure

1) Configure

Switch.

# Enable the NQA server and configure the listening IP address as 10.2.2.2 and port number as 8000.

<Switch> system-view

[Switch] nqa server enable

[Switch] nqa server udp-echo 10.2.2.2 8000

2) Configure

AC.

# Create a UDP-echo test group and configure related test parameters.

<AC> system-view

[AC] nqa entry admin test

[AC-nqa-admin-test] type udp-echo

[AC-nqa-admin-test-udp-echo] destination ip 10.2.2.2

[AC-nqa-admin-test-udp-echo] destination port 8000

[AC-nqa-admin-test-udp-echo] quit

# Enable the UDP-echo test.

[AC] nqa schedule admin test start-time now lifetime forever

# Display results of one UDP-echo test.

[AC] display nqa result admin test

NQA entry(admin admin, tag test) test results:

Destination IP address: 10.2.2.2
