The status indica-
tor LED does not
light in green even
after the USB cable
of Authentication
Unit (IC Card
Type) AU-201 is
connected to the
USB port of the
main body. A possible cause can be malfunc-
tion of the USB port of the main
body. Turn OFF the main power switch
of the main body, then disconnect
the USB cable of Authentication
Unit (IC Card Type) AU-201 from
the USB port of the main body. Re-
connect it, then wait 10 seconds or
longer before turning the main
power switch ON again.

IC cards cannot be
authenticated. Is Authentication Unit (IC Card
Type) AU-201 connected to the
USB port of the main body? Securely connect the USB cable of
Authentication Unit (IC Card
Type) AU-201 to the USB port of
the main body.
Is the machine set to use the USB
port? Contact your administrator.
