Follow the procedure on page 10-3 to display the Administrator Setting Menu Screen.

Press [07 Security Setting], [02 HDD Management Setting], and [01 HDD Lock Password] in sequence.
The HDD Lock Password Screen will be displayed.

Press [Current Password] to enter the password currently used, then press [OK].

Press [New Password] to enter your new password, then press [OK].

Press [Input Confirmation] to enter your new password once more, then press [OK].

Press [OK] to complete the setting.
% To cancel the change, press [Cancel].
In either case, the HDD Management Setting Menu Screen will be restored.
10.13.3 [02 HDD Management Setting] - [02 Delete Temp. Data Setting]
Specify whether or not to delete image data, which has been temporarily stored on the memory and is no
longer needed, by overwriting it with a specific data. Select also an erase mode to be used in overwriting the
data.
NOTICE
[02 HDD Management Setting] is displayed to function on the machine mounted with Hard Disk Kit HD-514.
Case Description
Mode 1 Overwrites with 0x00
Mode 2 Overwrites with 0x00 -> Overwrites with 0xff -> Overwrites with a single
random digit -> Verification
