5.2.3 Paper Setting for a Paper tray
Each paper tray has been preset with paper specifications. If you want to use another paper than specified
for the tray, follow the procedure below to change the paper setting.
NOTICE
Screens used here are to be displayed on the machine equipped with Paper Feeder Unit PF-704 and Image
Controller IC-306. For the paper setting on the machine equipped with Paper Feeder Unit (with scanner)
PF-705 and Image Controller IC-601, see Section 3 of the User's Guide - Copier.

Load paper into the tray with the setting to be changed.

Press the [MACHINE] tab to display the Machine Screen.

Check the settings of each tray displayed under [Paper Tray].
% The screen provides Size, Name, and Weight in a line for each tray. The Name normally shows a
paper type, or a profile name if registered specifications are recalled.

Press [Paper Setting].
% The same settings are available from both [Paper Setting] on the Machine Screen and [Paper Set-
ting] on the Copy Screen to be displayed on the machine equipped with Paper Feeder Unit (with
scanner) PF-705.
The Paper Setting Screen will be displayed.
