ATTENTION
Assign a unique diagnostic file to each channel. Do not
assign a diagnostic file that is the I/O status file you
assigned or any other used integer file. Unpredictable
machine damage can result.
In this Field Define By Doing the Following
Diagnostic file The file containing the channel’s status
information:
•
messages received
•
messages sent
•
messages received with error
•
unable to receive
•
sent with error
•
rack retries
Cursor to the field, type an integer file number (9-999)
Baud rate The communication rate for the remote
I/O scanner mode link Cursor to the field and select the desired rate.Available rates are:
57.6, 115.2, and 230.4 kbps.
IMPORTANT
You must define a diagnostics file for a channel configured
for anything but unused (even if you are not using the
channel) if you want to get status information for that
channel.
