port-channel-list

—Specifies a list of port channels. Separate

nonconsecutive port-channels with a comma and no spaces. Use a hyphen

to designate a range of port channels.

Default Configuration

Forwarding of all Multicast packets is disabled.

Command Mode

Interface (VLAN) Configuration mode

Example

The following example enables all Multicast packets on port gi0/4 to be

forwarded.

console(config)# interface vlan 2

console(config-if)# bridge multicast forward-all add gi0/4

bridge multicast forbidden forward-all

Use the bridge multicast forbidden forward-all Interface (VLAN)

Configuration mode command to forbid a port to dynamically join Multicast

groups. Use the no form of this command to restore the default

configuration.

Syntax

bridge multicast forbidden forward-all

{add | remove} {ethernet interface-

list | port-channel port-channel-list}

no bridge multicast forbidden forward-all

Parameters

add—Forbids forwarding of all Multicast packets.

remove—Does not forbid forwarding of all Multicast packets.

ethernet

interface-list

—Specifies a list of Ethernet ports. Separate

nonconsecutive Ethernet ports with a comma and no spaces. Use a hyphen

to designate a range of ports.
