Once a technology and a curve have been determined, save the custom make for future
use.

Operation

To access the custom menu, press

CUST

from the main menu.

Chose the slot to customize by pressing

+CST

to cycle through the available names.

Custom #1 through #5 are the default factory names. To change the name press

NAME

.

There are five available slots for saving custom makes. Press

+

or

to change the

alphabet. Press

to move the character. Press

SAVE

to save the name and the results.

Press TEC to test for technology type.

Select the appropriate technology type #1 - #4. Technology types offer various light level
thresholds. Refer to Table 5-1 for a list of technology light levels. The technology to use
may already be known based on the manufacturer’s information. If not, continue for
process of elimination testing.

HiOx

to test oximeter stabuility at the high oxygen setting.
