framing (X330WAN-2DS1 Controller context)

Use the

framing

command to select the frame type for the E1 or T1 data line. The

no

form of this command sets the controller’s framing type to the default value.

Syntax

[no] framing

<frame-type>

Parameters

Note:

Use this command in configurations where the router or access server is

intended to communicate with an E1 or T1 fractional data line. The service provider
determines which framing type (

sf

,

esf

, or

crc4

) is required for your E1/T1 circuit.

Example

X330WAN-2DS1-1(config-controller:1)#

no framing

The following example selects extended super frame as the T1 frame type:

X330WAN-2DS1-1(config-controller:1)#

framing esf

idle-character (X330WAN-2DS1 Controller context)

[no] idle-character
